Neil Kelly · The Working Actor Blueprint

Coaching · The Acting Itself

Fifty minutes. One on one.
I'm your scene partner.

This isn't drop-in coaching where you grab one session before an audition and disappear. It works like a gym. You come back every week, or every other week, and we keep the acting muscles sharp. No more rusting out while you wait for the phone to ring.

I work with actors who want to stay ready, because they perform better in the room and they book more. Serious, continuous improvement, one fixed time a week.

  • Your scene, or the real audition you're prepping. No material? Use one of mine.
  • On camera, with me as your scene partner, from minute one.
  • The last ten minutes are a plan: what I'd work on with you next.
  • The lowest-risk way to find out if we click. Nothing locks you in.

Standing coaching runs $240 or $480 a month for 2 or 4 sessions, on a monthly subscription. You don't pick that today. Today is one session.

The honest math against a class

A typical acting class

Three to four hours. You're on your feet for maybe fifteen minutes of it. The rest of the night, you're watching.

Fifty minutes with me

All fifty minutes are yours. I'm your scene partner and your coach, and every note is about your work.

About what a class costs in LA or New York. Now that's personalized training.

How it works

1

Start here: the Starter Session.

One discounted session and we're on our feet from minute one. It's our evaluation: are we a good fit, and do you want to keep going? Low risk. Nothing locks you in.

2

Pick your cadence.

After the starter, I email you the options: every other week, or weekly. You pick the pace, we lock in one fixed weekly time that's yours, and it bills monthly so the time stays yours.

3

Train, continuously.

Bring whatever the week needs: a self-tape, a real audition, demo footage, or a scene from my script library. Consistent reps. That's where the real improvement lives.

Don't take it from me

Take it from the ones who've seen their acting transform.

"There was a take where everything we'd built together fully came together — and I just felt so proud of myself."

"It was my first time auditioning for a SAG National Commercial — a Super Bowl commercial. Neil's coaching took my audition from 'good' to 'stand out.' I ended up getting an in-person callback."

One more thing...

You should know who you'd be working with. I trained at Boston University's BFA program and at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. I've been on set with Emily Blunt, Chris Evans, Catherine O'Hara, Andy Garcia, Rose McGowan, Ellen DeGeneres, and more — Netflix, Hulu, the Tribeca Film Festival, a Broadway World Award along the way. I'm not saying it to impress you. I'm saying it so you know the person on the other side of the session has actually done the thing.
